Professional Background

Darlene joined the IAB January of 2002. Although Darlene has been with IAB for just a little over a year, she comes with an extensive background with over 28 years in the insurance industry. Her areas of expertise include Customer Service, claims, underwriting, agent administration and management. Before coming to IAB she spent 6 years with States General Life Insurance Company as Vice President. Prior to that, she was a Vice President at Transport Life Insurance Company where her tenure lasted over 20 years.

Darlene is currently finishing her ICA (International Claims Association) designation and her LOMA (Life Office Management Association) certification.

Her goal for IAB is to provide IAB Members with the service they expect and the care and treatment they deserve.

When time permits, Darlene likes to work on her cattle farm in Central Texas.
